My "Mini Bio", A Little Bit About Me... Several folks have asked about my background, how long have I been doing this stuff, etc. I got interested in racing and performance cars at an early age when my uncle, who worked for Fram Oil Filters as a sales agent/distributor, started drag racing in Southern California in the late 60s. Over the years I’ve owned several six cylinder cars, my first being a 1972 Chevy Nova straight six, that I modified with an Offenhauser aluminum intake, a Holley 250 two barrel with a Moroso high flow air filter, Clifford headers and dual exhaust as well as additional suspension and tire mods, that was in 1979. Several years later I moved on to a Chevy S-10 Durango V6, a Chevy Monza V6, 1966 Light Blue straight six Mustang, and well you get the idea. I like V6 engines, their different, their easy to work on and they are fun. In 1997 my wife Linda wanted a new car and we purchased the '97' Laser Red you see on the home page. After driving the Stang for a few years and after some cursory research I decided that this would be a great platform to have some fun. I have never looked back. Am I the world’s foremost expert on the V-6 Mustang? Nope, but I bring to the table a healthy knowledge on the subject, my own personal experience, the experience of others I know, and an enthusiasm for the V-6 Mustang, and over 26 years of experience as a Navy aircraft mechanic, Quality Assurance Inspector and maintenance management staff. I apply my background as an instructor to bring the fun and excitement of Mustangs to folks that may never have tried it before but always wanted to. The V6 Mustang is a great car and I want more V6 owners to realize their dreams of owning a really cool car. By the way, I only own Fords now. There you have it in a nutshell.
